Hi, my name is Debbie Wubben.
My passion for art is fueled by creativity topped with humor and imagination.
I love color and texture, so I explore different mediums and create new
art that is constantly changing. I use whatever is in my studio, a little of
this and a little of that and “poof” the magic just happens, my brain is
bursting with new ideas daily.
I was born in Los Angeles and have lived in California my entire life. Although I love to travel, I also love to be at home with my husband, daughter, 2 rescue dogs and a rickety old cat.
I have been an artist since I could remember, I was drawing on my parent’s walls and furniture at the age of two. This was my first endeavor into the arts, although not much has changed since I am still painting on walls and furniture. I was very fortunate to meet Pablo Picasso when I was young and I think that was when I knew I would be an artist forever.
Over the last 30 years I have been a muralist, interior designer, art instructor, graphic artist, illustrator, event coordinator, cultural arts director, museum volunteer and most recently creepy doll collector (this happened my accident). I enjoy working with children & teenagers, and assist in raising funds for my favorite dog rescue. All areas of my life have been an inspiration for my art.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
